Ferocious and ghastly sequel to Ellis' landmark 80's novel Less Than Zero. Revisiting Clay, Blair, Trent, Julian and Rip is even more devastating than you'd think- this was a hard book to read. I'm not sure if it would have the same impact if I had't read and known those characters so well all along, but this was like being ripped apart- an Ellis specialty, for that matter. Ugh- and amazingly good.Monday, June 21, 2010
