As the series moves into the 40s, Nancy goes further afield, improbably taking Bess and George and even Ned, Burt and Dave with her. This time, its Scotland, to visit Nancy's great grandmother, Lady Douglas (!), at her ancestral manor (!) before it is given to the National Trust, to help find a missing brooch and to solve the problem of sheep rustlers.
